I'm looking for someone to help me with the roller shutters in my apartment. The cord had broken so one shutter is permanently down and the other could do with a service.

I appreciate things may change before next month, but I’m planning to use the Global bus service to get from the airport to my hotel in Amadores. I’ve not used Global bus since Covid 19 and wanted to ask a couple of questions. 

Previously I’ve paid cash as I board the bus, but I believe you have to use a card now. Does anyone know if UK issued credit cards work on the bus ok (using contactless)? I am expecting to wear a mask on the bus for the whole of the journey to Amadores, is there anything else I should be aware of, I will have a suitcase to put in the baggage hold under the bus.

Hi everyone looking for some advice…

I’m renting long term (1+ years) and staying in Campo de Golf area.

I don’t want to buy a car as there are still issues to be resolved over whether you can drive long term here with a UK driving licence without having to hand in your UK licence which I don’t want to do (I believe i can only drive legally on the UK licence for 180 days at the moment)

Anyway I’m thinking of buying a stand on electric scooter for some mobility to get about places (locally as the range is around 45k on a charge)

Would anyone recommend buying a stand on electric scooter or not ?
