I went swimming yesterday on Las Borrows Beach.  I noticed there looked like seaweed floating in the water.  I swam out to the buoys and criss crossed them for about a mile. As I was leaving the beach a life guard was ordering everyone out of the water. I asked him why?  He said that there was sewage in it. I actually noticed that the water was in the same condition the previous day (Sunday)

I cannot understand why the beach was not closed on Sunday or early on Monday morning.  It was not closed until Monday afternoon.  The sea was saturated with that sewage.  I asked the Lifeguard what happens if I got sick, he said to go to a local doctor.  The casual approach is just unforgivable. Beaches should be closed immediately sewage is spotted particularly as it was the second day and the place was covered in it.

I have a couple of jobs to do with doors. I would be grateful if someone can help ,e please.

I know that some suppliers will fit and remove old appliances but when this is not the case who do I contact and what is the ball park figure for such a service.

Hi there, I am currently looking at relocating to Maspalomas. I have just bought a house here and have my NIE number and now I am just looking for work. I currently work as a Senior Care Assistant in the UK, and have done for the past 8 years. I am just wandering if there is any jobs available for care assistants or really anything I'm very flexible with work and it doesn't have to be a full time position part time is great. I am a hard worker and fast learner and can adapt well to different working environments. Any advice would be much appriciated thankyou.

I am a retired nurse and have much free time to explore Las Palmas with anyone who has the ability to laugh at themselves as much as others , enjoy good food as much as juicy gossip and hope one day to be as fluent in Spanish as much as Dorothy hoped to leave Oz and return to Kansas !!
