Tourist train

This is probably too late for you but It starts from Avenue Italia. It's at a car rental place called Omega. I don't know what time it goes at. I have yet to get it and I'm going there 3 times a year every year. But if you wanted there is a Chinese restaurant called Slow Boat that do very good food. You could sit there in the shade while you eat something, have it paid for and be ready to go the minute you see people getting on it. A restaurant is a place I'd even recommend for your evening meal because you get plenty, it's hot, the place is spotless and the prices are extremely good. Also opposite are a few little shops you could wander in and out of and maybe pick up something nice for a great price and just keep sticking your head out the doors to see if anything is happening on the train. But at this stage the nearest I got was to see it just pulling into traffic. :-(
