Is it a "ghost town", in my opinion, no. Is it a heck of a lot quieter, then yes. The bars can now stay open till 1am, so there are places to go for a drink. Most restraunts are open with a new timetable. You may have a favourite over here, so best to check. A quick Google search and then check their opening times, will let you know.

There may be none, or a lack of sunbeds, but this is due to the strict cleaning regimes that have been applied. As each sunbed is vacated, it must me cleaned before each use.

Things are a lot quieter than we are used to. But it's sunny and warm and everyone is so glad to see you visiting their establishment or indeed the island.

I stress, this is only a personal choice, but I wouldn't cancel, lose the money and not have the chance to relax and get some winter sun.

We moved here at the end of August and I feel more covid secure than in the UK. If you would like any specific information about anything in particular, let me know and I will try and help or will find out for you

Hi Damian 57

Just seen your post on GC Forum

What did you decide ?

If you're here you might as well enjoy the sunshine

Small bus journeys to Puerto mogan  Puerto Rico  and a nice stroll to the maspalomas dunes will help take up your time if you want anymore suggestions   reply back

Hi

Is it better to rent a small apartment nearer to the lagoons as would like to go swimming regularly ?

How much is it to rent a small apartment please?

How easy / difficult is it to get a residencia  and how long does it take ?

Is public transport frequent and reasonalby priced ?

What is the standard of living like eg rent, bills, fruit and veg, bread, milk etc..?

Thanks Pat
