Can anyone recommend a company offering health insurance for a visa. I'm looking for the cheapest option as I hope to be only in Gran Canaria for 5 months and just need it to obtain a nomad visa.

You should try asssa ( www.asssa.es ) they are very economically priced and cover you for everything. Prices depend on age at the time of taking it out. They have offices in Gran Canaria.
