Hi, I'm writing this having had my email ignored by insurance companies........even the one I have my house insurance with! What I want to know is how does car insurance work here. Some people have told me you insure the car and then anyone with a driving license can drive it. That could well be so but it doesn't make sense because if someone steal my car then the robber is insured to drive my car. I have spent so much money on car hire now that I've had bought a nice car. Not a new one. So can anyone tell me, do I insure a car if I buy one or do I take out car insurance on the car and specify the two people who are insured to drive it? Do you know if you can pause the insurance on it like if you go away for the Summer months so that you would have 4 months of the year that there would be no need to have it insured? In Ireland as long as you have the car taxed, you can leave it on the road outside your house. Is it the same here as in do you tax your car separately to insurance and this allows you to legally leave it on the road so that the police know its not just been abandoned there and can trace the ownership details? I just want a bit of clarity please if you can help. I have so far asked people who have lived here since birth and they probably don't know because they've never had to do it the way Ireland and the UK do it. Finally if there is a reputable car dealer that you would go back to again to buy your next car, could you tell me their name. If you don't want to put it here can you send me a private messaging letting me know who you would recommend. I need an automatic car. I don't care how old it is as long as its been maintained well. Thanks so much for all your help in advance.

Sewage Problem on Ls Burras Beach - 0 replies
The Council has continued to release untreated sewage from the plant on Las Burras Beach every day for at least the last six months. The Sewage is visible daily in the sea along the path between Las Burras and San Augustin Beaches and along the shore at the beaches where children are playing in it. The Council will not reply to emails about it. The Lifeguards say it is not their responsibility. At first, I thought it might be a one-off technical problem with the pumping station and in October the Lifeguards closed the beach because of it. Now they don't do so. Does anyone have any information on whether there are any plans to stop this practice or at least put up notices to warn people about the health hazards involved.

Today (18th of October 2022) I have lost my GoPro Hero 7 black camera on the beach (Playa de Amadores).
It was on the beach itself, near restaurant Ciao Ciao, on one of the yellow beach chairs around 18:00 PM.
I care less about the camera but the pictures are really important to me. If you have found the camera, please contact me.
