Semi independent retirement living for my father

Hi Jan I wonder if you can help me, we are looking for a retirement home or village for my father who is 83 years old. He is Italian in origin but has lived in London since 1958 so speaks English well and was also living in Spain for 20 years from 1996 to 2016 so speaks Spanish and still has his Spanish Residency and bank accounts etc, he and my mother then came back to the UK but has since been very unhappy here and he wants to go back to spain on his own, preferably Las Palmas or close by. 

He used to be a singer and musician so is used to a lively lifestyle so would need to be somewhere close to the town centre and not isolated. If you can point me in the right direction I would be greatful.
