Hi all...any recommendations on where to buy good quality outdoor furniture..I'm looking for a table and chairs preferably Ratan...I have tried all the usual places such as IkEA, Leroy Merlin, Conforma, Pepe Jesus.. very poor selection and quality, at greatly inflated prices.... Regards...

PS will be selling my old set of plastic round table and 4 chairs...in good clean condition... photos available on request...they are not your general run of the mill stuff...

I went swimming yesterday on Las Borrows Beach.  I noticed there looked like seaweed floating in the water.  I swam out to the buoys and criss crossed them for about a mile. As I was leaving the beach a life guard was ordering everyone out of the water. I asked him why?  He said that there was sewage in it. I actually noticed that the water was in the same condition the previous day (Sunday)

I cannot understand why the beach was not closed on Sunday or early on Monday morning.  It was not closed until Monday afternoon.  The sea was saturated with that sewage.  I asked the Lifeguard what happens if I got sick, he said to go to a local doctor.  The casual approach is just unforgivable. Beaches should be closed immediately sewage is spotted particularly as it was the second day and the place was covered in it.

We lost our gold ring on the beach probably in San Agustin or Playa del Ingles Dec 2020.

Starting a new life in GC in about 2 weeks.I have 100 questions but I will resume at 2 so far

What do you think about Collegio Arenas sur I have a 6 years old that doesn't speak Spanish we are coming from Ireland so her English is good even though we are not Irish 

2. This Corona Virus situation makes me wonder what help you get in GC from goverment if lockdown taking in consideration that at the moment just my husband is working.Is just that fear.....of starting a new life in this current situation

I am Resident in mainland Spain, but spend time in GC.

A few years ago I bought a low mileage car on Tenerife and had it driven (ferry crossing) back to Spain. I "imported" it to Spain, paid the taxes, etc.

I am looking to do the same thing again, but Gran Canaria this time.

Does anyone know of a service provider who could deliver a car from GC to mainland Spain ? f

Hey! we are a family living in Sweden and sometimes travel to Spain and Gran Canaria for holidays. Our daughters are from 10 to 14 years old and study Spanish in school. Tell them today, why do you get a Spanish IBF (best friend) and at the same time practice in conversation. There may also be an opportunity to see when we are on holiday in GC.

Got the question from one of them that how do you do then? It should be peers know that fom uses snap, Tiktok, Facebook etc. This is the question asked here on the forum. :-)) Best regards!
