I am sure I am not the only person who has found themselves stranded in Gran Canaria in these difficult times.  I landed on 14th March about 1900hrs and went into lockdown the next day.  I am on my own as my Fathers flight was cancelled.  I have had loads of flights booked then they are cancelled last minute.  I am in contact with the Daily Mirror who suggested I try to make contact with others who are stranded as it will hold more weight to try to get something done and get us home.  If you know anybody in this position please get them to respond to this.  If there is a facebook page in Gran Canaria please add this to cover all of Gran Canaria.   I couldnt press all the areas only allowed one.

Hi there, I’m so sorry to hear about your situation. My husband and I happened to move here permanently on the 14th, so aren’t stranded. Perhaps you can get in contact with the British consulate in Las Palmas or maybe get your local paper back in England to run a story to try and help you. Wising you all the best, Anita
