I plan to retire in Gran Canaria in May this year with my husband of 30 years. I have lived in Gran Canaria in the past about 10 years ago, I have got my NIE number and my green residence certificate, my question is do you think my green residency certificate is still valid as I know the importance of getting one before the end of December. Also if mine is still valid will it make it easier for my husband to apply. Thank you for your help Mark

Your green residencia should last for 5 years and then a full residencia sent out to you

If you did not say you had moved back home maybe it was sent to your last known residence

It may be best to contact the commissionare de police in saint Augustin MASPALOMAS

Would be best using traslator
