We are thinking about a move from the mainland, as we just can't take the summer heat any more!
Just wondering if anyone could comment on how cloudy the interior of the island gets throughout the year?
We like things a bit cool, but would we regret a potential lack of sunshine?

Hi Mark and Sandra I divide my time between mainland Spain and GC...so i can safely say the weather is far superior on GC than mainland Spain. It's cooler in Summer and warmer and drier in Winter. The north of GC tends to be cloudy, the interior can have rain...the south tends to be a bit windy but once you go south of Arguineguin it's less so...it's very pleasant weather, especially during the winter months with sunshine all year round...
