Are beach volley and other such activities going normally?

Hi,

I visited Gran Canaria a few years ago and remember playing beach volley at a free-for-all court at Playa de las Canteras.

I was wondering if beach volley is still going strong in Gran Canaria (or Tenerife) despite Covid: are there government mandated restrictions? Are there players? (Or are the beaches mostly empty?)

Thanks!

Beach volleyball and tennis are still played all the time on Canteras beach.  I don't know if you just turn up and secure a court - but there are usually posts free to put up a net.  On occasions, lately, we've seen 13 games all going at once!

The beaches and the Paseo, generally, are still very busy.  Masks have to be worn while you're walking about on the Paseo, but not on the beach.
